I’m posting most of my new work on Substack these days. There’s two areas. Tales of the Unexpected<\/a> is a series of … well, unexpected stories. Some flashes, some short stories. A few of them are more traditional, and there’s a fair few experiments. It’s so good to be able to follow my nose, instead of writing short stories to fit an editor’s brief.<\/p>\n\n\n

Also, The Market Diaries<\/a> – covering me and Anita taking over and running a stall in Todmorden Market Hall. It’s called The Lucky Gourmet. We sell delicious things from the Mediterranean. It’s an entirely new venture for us both – new people, new things. I’ve always loved food and Anita really dances this as an alternative career for her sooner or later. So far, it’s been quite an experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
