Letter from Blue

Dear Melvin Burgess,I absolutely love your books and decided to write a song about my favourite of yours- The Hit 🙂 I thought you might want to read it? I am rubbish at writing music so I only have lyrics.
I think your books are brilliant and really real to me, I can really feel like the characters!
I loved the concept of Death and thought I’d write about it 🙂
Here’s my song:

Dropped onto his tongue
The noose had been hung
Dissolving as he swallowed
Dreaming of what followed
Accepting his choice
Ignoring any other voice
So alive yet he was dead
The magic was all in his head
For that moment he knew
